bootjack lake

story

Located at the outlet of a mountain lake in Montana, this vacation retreat for an outdoor enthusiast and his family takes inspiration from the traditional fishing camps once common in the region. The design features four distinct cabins, each strategically positioned to capture unique views. Three of the cabins—the Kids’ Cabin, Public Cabin, and Owners’ Cabin—are connected by low-roofed walkways, fostering a sense of cohesion while maintaining independence. The fourth cabin, designed for guests, is elevated separately above the main cluster to provide a more secluded retreat.
